Product Overview · v1.0 Formerly "VoiceBridge"

Speak your language.
They hear theirs.

VoiceVani is a mobile app that acts as a live interpreter during an actual phone call. You speak naturally; the person on the other end hears their own language on a completely ordinary incoming call — no app, no setup, ever, on their side.

⚠️
Renamed from "VoiceBridge" The product is now VoiceVani. The underlying architecture has also evolved from the original spec — the current approach keeps the core promise fully intact: the person you call needs no app, ever. Full technical details are available on request (see below).

Phone calls are the last mile AI translation hasn't solved.

You live or work somewhere you don't speak the language. Calling a landlord, an internet provider, a doctor's office, or a bank means avoiding the call, begging a friend, or fumbling with copy-paste translation that destroys conversational flow.

AlternativeGap VoiceVani closes
Google Translate / DeepL (text)Manual, breaks call flow, not usable on an actual phone call
Google Interpreter / iTranslate ConverseSame-device or pass-the-phone only — not a real phone call
Language Line / human interpretersExpensive (~$2–4/min), scheduled, enterprise-focused
Pocketalk-style hardware~$300 device, not integrated with your phone

The wedge: a real phone call, the other side needs nothing, consumer subscription pricing.

What we will not compromise on.

🎯

Zero friction for the callee

They receive a normal call. No app, no link, no setup — ever. This is the moat; protect it.

🔍

Confidence through transparency

A live transcript (original + translation) always on screen, so the user can trust — and verify — what was said.

👻

Ephemeral by default

Audio is processed in transit and discarded. Transcripts are stored only if the user opts in.

🇪🇺

Privacy & GDPR first

Built for EU users from day one — EU-region processing, ephemeral audio, and a clear consent model, not bolted on later.

Two languages, one color system.

A locked blue/violet two-color system encodes the two language identities — your language is blue, their language is violet — used consistently across transcript bubbles, the dial accent, and the language-pair selector. Light UI everywhere, except the in-call screen, which goes dark for focus and reduced glare during a live call.
